We are seeking a motivated and engaging individual to drive sales of ContraPest®, a U.S.-registered fertility-based rodent control product. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this person is responsible for overseeing direct sales in the western United States; identifying and effectively executing commercial sales of ContraPest® nationally with future expansion into international markets; and the ultimate profitability of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the activity of junior sales associates. Works to ensure sales and productivity goals are met.
Oversees daily sales activity in US states, meets with major clients, draws up sales reports, designs new and more effective sales strategies, and works to market and promote company products and services.
Works to foster lasting relationships with client base. Locates opportunities to expand client base. Networks with prospective clients to persuade them to bring their business to the company. Implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base, providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Implements strategies for business development and drives the company’s achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals. Responsible for meeting specific quarterly or annual sales goals.
Prepares reports, primarily in SalesForce, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for each client that is contacted.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in the appropriate professional societies.
Accountable for tracking what the competitors of the company are doing, and also be aware of pricing, compensation, and distribution.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business and seven years of relevant experience; or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Business Administration and minimum five years of relevant expeirence.
Direct experience in biotech, animal welfare, pest control, or related industry. With demonstrated success in sales and marketing sector.
Expierence managing effective sales teams.
MS Office, Adobe, and knowledge of CRM platforms, specifically SalesForce.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The majority of working hours are an office setting, either working independently or meeting with team members and corporate boards in a conference room.
Local and national travel to meet clients and visit satellite locations is also required.
Most work is performed while sitting or standing at a desk with a computer. Abilty to lift 35 pounds required. Abilty to use standard office equipment including computer, desk or cell phone, copies, and fax machines.

Additional Salary Information: Salary
$90,000 per year, plus sales-based commissions 15k per qtr at goal; first first qtr guaranteed. SenesTech is a publicly-traded company and stock options may also be available as supplemental, performance-based compensation.
