Under close supervision, performs a variety of clerical and office support duties to include filing, scanning, processing mail, data entry, and responding to wage audits.
1. Maintains and updates filing using established filing system for the department by keeping files current, retrieving information from files, and purging files as directed by established guidelines. Prepares documents for storage. 2. Receives mail or correspondence for the work area. Opens, reviews and determines destination. 3. Enters, updates, and verifies data. Enters pay-related data into Back Office User Interface (BOUI) template, as needed. 4. Completes wage audits according to established guidelines. 5. Processes and scans files to be entered into computer in a digital database. Ensures scanned copies are legible. 6. Assists users with payroll system password resets.
1. High school diploma or GED and 6 months experience in clerical office, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel 3. Accuracy and attention to detail 4. Basic time management skills and strong organizational skills and deductive reasoning skills 5. Team work and collaboration 6. Ability to maintain confidentiality
