Division Technical Services Manager
Job Title: Division Technical Services Manager
Reports To: Division President
Education: Bachelors Degree – Entomology/Biology (PhD a plus)
Experience: 10+ years of Industry Technical Service and /or related experience
Other Qualifications: Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) preferred, strong problem solving and analytical skills required; good technical writing, public speaking and computer skills needed. Must have excellent people skills and the desire and ability to train outside of the classroom.
Travel Requirements: 75-80% of time.
Work in conjunction with the division staff and field personnel to improve customer retention, earn customer loyalty and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Analyze all service related metrics to forecast potential service and pest issues. Report on efficacy of service protocols and route efficiency.
Resolve customer’s service problems by eliminating problems while teaching operations personnel on procedures taken.
Authorize and approve all materials and supplies used by operations needed to provide service to our customers.
Authorize and approve all equipment used by operations needed to render pest control services.
Assist Rollins Supply with vendor relations to position company to obtain the best products at the most efficient price.
Assist the quality assurance team and the training department to improve the quality of service within the company.
Provide technical expertise to the sales efforts of the division
Facilitate the R&D with suppliers and universities to help develop new products and technologies for the company in the future
Participate as appropriate in industry conferences and work with appropriate universities, suppliers on research related to specific division pest and service needs.
Assist operations to develop and maintain a good relationship with state regulators within company
Assist Orkin Public Relations with programs and publicity opportunities and promotions as needed.
Promote the advancement of technical expertise throughout the company including ACE and BCE certifications.
Monitor and track technical and pest specific service related programs through reports and performance statistics.
Identify specific pest problems and develop corrective actions and training to address.
Serve as the advocate for our mapping and routing software.
